THE STATE FUND IS WORKING: REPORTING ON ISSUED LOANS DURING THE SUMMER AT WAR

The military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine significantly affected the real estate market of our country: mortgage lending practically stopped.

Of course, for obvious reasons, there is currently no funding for most of the programs administered by SFYH. Nevertheless, despite the difficult circumstances, the Fund continues to lend to Ukrainian families in need of their own housing. It is inappropriate to talk about volumes now – the very fact of the gradual recovery of housing lending is what matters. We follow this path and prove by deeds that mortgage lending is possible even during the war.

From 1 June to 31 August 2022, thirty-eight mortgage loans were issued for over 56 million UAH. These funds are already in circulation in the economy of our country.

Of the loans issued in three months, nine were granted under local programs (funds from local budgets). In particular, four loans were received by families in the Poltava Region, as well as in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Cherkasy  Region, and Chernivtsi.

Twenty-nine loans were issued under the program "Housing for Internally Displaced Persons", which is implemented at the expense of the funds of a grant from the German government provided through the KfW bank. Participants of this program will purchase their housing in Kyiv city and the Kyiv region, but also in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, and Poltava region.

The month of August seemed to be the most active in terms of lending, but also it was the month when it was possible to renew the work of a joint grant project with German partners.

Thus, the State Fund is working. In the fall, we are preparing to issue subsequent mortgage loans to Ukrainian families. However, the main point is that each of us in our place is bringing our great Victory closer!
