QUALITY WORK WITH THE CREDIT PORTFOLIO AND OPTIMIZING STRUCTURE ARE THE KEY TASKS OF THE SFYH

On 18 November 2022, an online meeting was held at the SFYH, which board members, heads of structural divisions of the central office, and directors of the Fund's regional offices attended.

The chairman of the SFYH's board, Serhii Komnatnyi, reported on the main principles of reorganizing the regional network of the Fund, which will take place in the short term. Its target indicators should be increasing the functional capacity and efficiency of the Fund, bringing its internal structure in line with current economic realities and the needs of the national housing policy.

The key matter discussed during the meeting was the analysis of the SFYH's loan portfolio. The Fund's loan portfolio continues to grow even in the current conditions and today consists of more than 9,100 mortgage loans granted to citizens (borrowers) under programs administered by the Fund.

On numbers, the loan portfolio of the SFYH constitutes 2.35 billion UAH.

Overdue debt constitutes 4.7% of this volume, equivalent to 110.8 million UAH.

This figure is much lower compared to the one of the country's financial markets in general, especially under martial law conditions. At the same time, at the meeting, emphasis was placed on preventing the growth of overdue debt and taking measures to reduce it.

At this time, due to the cooperation of the central executive authorities and SFYH in developing solutions (adopted by the Government), citizens whose incomes have decreased or whose housing has been lost or damaged due to hostilities have an opportunity to receive special conditions for repaying loans or being granted credit holidays. Loan decisions concerning citizens should be made individually, considering the circumstances in which each family finds itself.

Additionally, it has been emphasized to uphold ethical norms when communicating with military personnel and other protected categories of citizens.

The work of the Fund continues. The financial institution conducts its business even under martial law and strives to improve the efficiency of its work.

Finally, work is underway to find new business partners and expand the offer of sustainable housing solutions to Ukrainian families. After all, this is in the interests of the citizens, who urgently need a reliable roof over their heads today more than ever.
